From a history chart to a repeatable question
Macrotrends' NVIDIA P/E page documents a historical P/E chart and a table of price, trailing earnings per share and P/E. It is a familiar starting point for looking up how a multiple changed.StockResearch adds a question you can reuse across companies: where does the current multiple sit within that company's own history?
| NVIDIA reading | StockResearch, Oct 22, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Trailing P/E | 28.1x |
| Five-year median P/E | 56.9x |
| Percentile of available weekly readings in the last five years | 1st |

What is free, and what the numbers mean
StockResearch's P/E and P/S history pages, percentile readings and screener results are public. The 5Y, 10Y and All chart ranges are free. The percentile still uses available weekly readings from the last five years; zooming out does not change its reference window.
Coverage and start dates vary. We use SEC filings with weekly prices and disclose missing or excluded data. Trailing earnings, adjusted earnings, forward estimates and different sampling dates can produce different P/E values across providers. Compare those definitions before comparing the numbers.
